We are excited to announce the hiring of our new choir director, Jonathan Brennand! Jonathan is a graduate student in conducting at UMass. He comes to us very highly recommended and with a wide variety of conducting experience, including a stint as conductor of a UU choir. He will begin with us on September 12, our first Sunday service of the year. Please welcome him and help him to get to know us.

On a sadder note, you will have heard that Elise Jackendoff, musician, has resigned. We will certainly miss her wonderfully evocative piano playing as well as her varied and supremely well-chosen music, which really enhanced our services.

Finally, we will miss the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment of our outgoing choir director, Nym Cooke. We wish him well!
