Please join members Ed Tick and Kate Dahlstedt for a Memorial Day gathering entitled “It is for us, the living…” designed to help us join in community observance, witnessing, forgiveness and reconciliation as together we grieve all war losses and give them purpose.

“In the tradition of the ancient warrior practice of annual sacred gatherings for restoring spirit, we invite you to join us on Memorial Day Sunday. The Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst has been especially welcoming of our veteran healing efforts. With Rev. Steve Cook, we have designed and will co-facilitate a Sunday service devoted to helping restore the original meaning of Memorial Day.
