The six-part documentary series from the UUA, Long Strange Trip, continues on April 22 with Part 4, “Universalism.” Come join us at noon downstairs in Classroom A for a viewing and refreshments.

Early Universalism has roots in Christian mysticism, which lifts up the universal and abundant love of God for God’s creation. Universalists were often asked, “Without belief in punishment after death, what compels someone to live a moral life?”

You’ll also learn why the way Universalism arrived on our shores is sometimes called the “UU Miracle” (no spoilers here!). After the video, you are welcome to stay, if you can, for a discussion of these questions and more using a study guide by the UUA
