On any given Sunday morning during the snow season, the UUSA president and the minister will check the weather and forecasts at 6:30 a.m. If a decision to cancel a service is made, it will be posted on Channel 40. (Click the logo

Sunday, June 6, 10:00 a.m.: Interfaith Understanding
The Rev. Alison Wohler
This will be an Intergenerational Service, inspired by the experiences and insights of our UUSA Neighboring Faiths group of 7th, 8th, and 9th graders who have spent this year learning about and visiting several diverse religious traditions right here in our valley. We will also recognize and celebrate all the teachers and volunteer parents who dedicated their time to the important mission of our religious education program.
The Annual Picnic will be held today at 3:00 p.m. at the home of Judy Mitrolka! Details in the newsletter.

Water your gardens! We'll need flowers for our closing celebratory service on June 13. For flower communion each person is asked to bring a flower (just a single flower) from their garden or from along the road. We'll turn them into luxurious arrangements to grace the Chalice table, and then we'll take home a different flower than the one we brought. It's fun, and beautiful. Don't forget your flower for our last service.

Sunday, June 13, 10:00 a.m.: Gardeners of the Future
The Rev. Alison Wohler
We will celebrate Flower Communion on this last Sunday service before our summer recess. My plan is to consider how this congregation, in its past, present, and possible future, might itself resemble a garden. We'll see how this idea works! Today we'll say goodbye for a few months, and thank our leaders for their hard work over the course of the past year with all its important and exciting changes activities and decisions.
Over the summer, don't forget to collect some water during your travels - or just from your kitchen faucet - to pour into our collective ball when services resume with our Water Communion on September 12.
