Over the summer and into the fall, we, the Ministry of Welcome and Membership, reviewed what our current UUSA bylaws say about Membership. After discussing and reviewing with Co-Presidents Anne Moore and John Gerber and with Rev Rachael — and asking DRE Andrew Coate for feedback — we presented our recommendations to the Board during their regular October meeting. Following our conversations (one in-person in the sanctuary immediately after the November 13 Sunday service, one on Wednesday, November 16, online — time and link to come), a vote on the proposed changes during a special Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 4.
