This series of presentations and conversations will be presented by The Rev. Cynthia A. Frado and guests. It’s “the talk” that no one wants to have, but everyone needs to have to make our journey’s end more meaningful and less chaotic. Please join us for three informational sessions that might help bring some clarity and personal peace, and begin the discussion for yourself and/or family members. Sessions will be held in the Willie Eaton Social Hall on the following dates:
Session I – Wednesday, March 29 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM: Elder care options — Stay home, nursing home, live with adult children. A review of agencies and available services.
Session II – Wednesday, April 5 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM: Elder legal questions, health care proxy, protecting assets, wills, health benefits, trusts, and other financial concerns.
Session III – Wednesday, April 12 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM: Sorting through the personal and spiritual details, end-of-life requests, obituaries, funeral/burial desires, journals, storytelling, how you want to be remembered, what information to begin gathering together for family, doctors, lawyers, clergy.
